10 Mile Floats
Launching several times daily from historic Deadman’s Bar (ask your guide) and floating to Moose Village, these trips offer distinct wildlife viewing opportunity, park discovery and reflections of nature, all along the river corridor. Plan for a pleasurable, informative and signature Snake River experience.
Our ten-mile floats are very popular providing a unique event not experienced by the casual Park visitor. These trips are the ideal length, allowing time to plan other activities into your day's schedule.

Early Morning Wildlife Float: Early risers this is the float for you. Plan to be the first boat on the River as the sun crests the horizon to the East casting its morning rays on the Tetons. Your pictures will be clear and crisp and the Tetons most defined. Cool mountain mornings offer great chances to view a variety of wildlife as you wake-up with nature. Our sunrise floats meet at Triangle X Ranch (see Triangle X Meet Point Map) and are offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5:30 a.m. Dress warm and plan for a most enjoyable scenic adventure.
Evening Wildlife Float: The summer days in Jackson Hole seem alomst endless as it remains light until nearly 9:30 p.m. The warm evenings are a great time of day to visit the Snake River as the sun sets over the Grand Tetons ending another day in paradise. Distinct wildlife viewing opportunities present themselves as animals are well into their evening routines. Our sunset floats meet at Moose Village (see Moose Meet Point Map) and are offered on Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m.
